Work With Us

If you are an institutional grantmaker or individual donor interested in maximizing your impact, we would be pleased to work with you, and to support your philanthropy. We do this by providing research and recommendations on:

• High impact philanthropic causes worth supporting; and
• Specific high impact charities that you can donate to.

Our research is always provided free of charge, except in the case of bespoke commissions (see below).

Other important information:

• US-based donors can make tax-deductible donations to our recommended charities, by giving through CEARCH’s own 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor. Non-US donors will receive all administrative support needed (e.g. the provision of grantee non-profit documentation and bank details) to make direct donations.
• We typically circulate our charity recommendations twice a year to institutional grantmakers (once in June, and once in November), and once a year to individual donors (once in November, during the giving season).

Additionally, anyone who would like to support CEARCH’s cause recommendations but leave it to CEARCH’s discretion as to which specific charities to grant to at any given time, you may wish to donate directly to our High Impact Philanthropy Fund. For ordinary dollar donations, we suggest wire transfer to minimize fees, but for greater convenience you may opt to give online via Cornerstone. For crypto donations, we suggest using Engiven.

Research Commission

We are also open to commissioned research projects. Past commissioned work include:

• A critical analysis of salt policy advocacy. Requested by Founders Pledge.
• A series of reports on mental health (link). Commissioned by the Flourishing Minds Fund.
• A research brief on childhood immunization. Commissioned by D-Prize.
• An investigation into the EA meta funding landscape (link). Commissioned by the Meta Charity Funders.

For anyone interested in commissioning research from us, we would be happy to discuss terms. Our going rates are lower than the market rate as set by Rethink Priorities.
